So...many of you know just how random I am as I bounce from activity to activity...but never have I participated in something as huge as this! As a new participant of Team In Training, my goal is to raise $3600 in order to help fight leukemia and other blood diseases out there! But wait...what is Team In Training?? It is a sports endurance program...and my sport is a full marathon! Yup!!! That's right...you read correctly!
I'll be running a full marathon in January over in Orlando, FL at Walt Disney World!!!! Wohooo! Creating a blog for you all to follow as we get through our training sounded like a great idea!
So far we have had our kickoff party, fundraising meetings, a shoe clinic, two training sessions, and an honored heroes breakfast. Below are some photos from a few of our events!
